2014-15 season highlights for Richard Croft include Britten in Berlin, Corigliano in California, Vivaldi in Zürich
Following a 2013-14 season that included a triumphant Billy Budd with Los Angeles Opera, Richard Croft anticipates a 2014-15 season highlighted with three major operas in Germany, California, and Switzerland.
The American tenor returns to Britten at the Staatsoper im Schiller Theater when he stars as Peter Quint in The Turn of the Screw November 15–December 5. Richard also revisits Los Angeles from February 7–March 1 to sing Almaviva in John Corigliano’s The Ghosts of Versailles. Spring of 2015 also sees Richard make his role debut as Sultan Mamud in Vivaldi’s La verità in cimento at the Opernhaus Zürich May 25–June 16.
